MarketPryce and Cav Futures, the official NIL collective for University of Virginia athletics, today announced a partnership supporting 50 Cavalier athletes across Football, Women’s Basketball, Women’s Swim & Dive, Baseball, Softball and Women’s Lacrosse.
The partnership kicked off with another installment of MarketPryce’s MP Campus Tour. A TikTok challenge – sponsored by Incrediwear – awarded athletes thousands of dollars in prizes for creating engaging content using the athlete recovery apparel brand’s products.
Slate Milk and Bubble Skincare also gifted product to kick off NIL conversations with Cavalier student-athletes.
“The MarketPryce team put on an awesome event,” said senior Women’s Basketball star Camryn Taylor. “We left with helpful advice and products we’ll actually use. I’m excited to connect with Incrediwear and build a relationship with that brand. We have a lot of untapped NIL opportunity at Virginia, so this was a meaningful start.”
In addition to connections with national and regional brands, Cav Futures student-athletes will have access to MarketPryce+, an educational platform featuring NIL best practices on creating authentic and engaging social media content, writing strong brand pitches, building their personal narratives and maximizing their value.
MarketPryce’s Athlete Engagement team shared tips on quick, efficient content creation and insights as former athletes tasked with making the most of their name, image and likeness.
“Our team innovates every time they arrive on a partner campus,” MarketPryce CEO and Co-Founder Jason Bergman said. “We’re bringing deals on Day 1 and making NIL tangible for student-athletes. Instead of talking to student-athletes ambiguously about the opportunity NIL might bring them, we help them experience it hands-on.”

MarketPryce has helped more than 3,000 professional, collegiate and high school athletes connect with more than 1,000 brands through its marketplace. Cav Futures is the fifth official partner to ink MarketPryce, joining Florida State’s Rising Spear Collective, University of Arizona, UCLA and Florida Gulf Coast University.

Cav Futures enables fans to contribute to the NIL efforts of UVA student-athletes through several offerings, including one-time and monthly-contributions through its Cav Club online subscription services program.
Cav Futures was formed in March of 2022. It helps UVA student-athletes use their name, image and likeness to be compensated for traditional endorsements, social media promotions, appearances and autographs, in-kind deals and equity opportunities. Cav Futures also assists student-athletes in hiring marketing agents and other representatives or service providers to assist them.
