MarketPryce Musketeers Connects Alumni, Donors With Xavier Athletes, Local Businesses

MarketPryce has launched MarketPryce Musketeers, a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) initiative with the Xavier University community.

MarketPryce, an online marketplace that enables athletes to connect directly with brands for marketing partnerships, has launched MarketPryce Musketeers, a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) initiative with the Xavier University community.

MarketPryce Musketeers, the first NIL collective at a Big East school, unites Xavier student-athletes, fans, and local businesses by harnessing the power of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). Xavier fans will have the opportunity to donate directly to MarketPryce Musketeers and support student-athletes. Those funds are then used to pay Xavier student-athletes for promoting local Cincinnati businesses.

“We’re excited to roll out an initiative that is a win-win for student-athletes, fans, and businesses in the Xavier community,” said MarketPryce CEO, Jason Bergman. “Our goal is to make NIL deals accessible to every student-athlete regardless of their sport, school size, or social following. This is a huge step forward toward that goal.”

For Xavier, this partnership opens up new opportunities for all student-athletes.

MarketPryce Musketeers aims to build on the success of MarketPryce Florida, a similar initiative launched in the Gainesville community. More than 50 student-athletes from eight different sports have participated, earning thousands of dollars for promoting local businesses. A significant percentage of Xavier student-athletes are expected to participate to help promote Cincinnati businesses.

“Together, we’re making Xavier an NIL powerhouse in the Big East,” said Bergman. “Student-athletes get to profit from their NIL, local businesses get to grow their customer base, and fans get to support their favorite teams. It’s an all-around win.”
